Rare Books and Special Collections Reading Room, University of Sydney
Internal works to the Rare Books and Special Collections Library at the University of Sydney. The project involves fitout and furnishings to create a new reading room and administrative offices adjacent to the highly serviced and secure collections archive. The scheme includes security and conservation strategies to allow supervised access to the collection for students, academics and the visiting public. The integration of key historic furnishings into the contemporary fitout maintains the legacy of the collection in its new home.
