July 2019 - Construction commences as Watergardens Marketplace

We are excited to share that Watergardens, our first project in Victoria, is now under construction and due for completion in 2020. Archer Office have been responsible for the Architectural Design of the project and Melbourne-based executive architects, NH Architecture have lead the detailed design and documentation for tender. This rendering by @synthvisual was part of the package Archer Office delivered for the planning application.⠀
⠀

The project is an exciting new fresh food precinct by QIC Global Real Estate for Taylors Lakes in Victoria, containing a mix of fresh food retailers and market style dining experiences.
The architectural strategy is based on creating a diversity of experiences beneath a shared canopy that blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors. A series of retail pavilions are set within an overarching trellis canopy that ties the project together and extends into the landscape to bring the outdoors into the project. The mall spaces between pavilions are naturally ventilated, and feature a translucent roof that allows extensive planting to grow throughout the space.

Owner: QIC Global Real Estate⠀

Development stage: Under construction⠀
Completion date: Mid 2020⠀

Project cost: $50 Million⠀

Project size: +5,000m2⠀

Executive Architect: NH Architecture

Design Architect: Archer Office
